OUR STORY

AsteyayogaSongdo, a registered Yoga school with World Yoga Alliance was founded in 2018 in Songdo, South Korea.  
We believe Yoga practice brings tremendous benefits such as physical health, mental health and spiritual health. If everybody in the world practiced Yoga, we would have a healthy, happy and peaceful world. As modern world Yoga studios only emphasise on practicing the physical part of Yoga which has led to wrong understandings of Yoga, we are committed to introduce to people a complete Yoga practice which includes all traditional Yoga techniques (Asanas, Pranayamas, Bandhas, Mudras, Kriyas, Meditation and daily practicing of Eight-limbs Yoga). Only by practicing all aspects of Yoga, practitioners can transform physically and mentally. 
We provide daily classes with different levels that suit your needs, workshops and teacher training courses.

HATHA 1

Hatha 1 is for people who are very new to Yoga, for seniors and people with some physical limitations.
Hatha 1 designs with basic Yoga Asanas and gives more modifications that suit your body type or physical condition better.
Hatha 1 also helps to build up your strength and flexibility slowly and safely. You will also learn to breathe correctly and practice simple pranayamas and be introduced to Meditation.


HATHA 2

This popular class is based on the belief that mental and physical health are interrelated, and should be conditioned together. All of the classes at asteyayogasongdo attempt to coordinate breathing and physical movement, improve focus and concentration, and help participants regain control of their body and mind.

POWER YOGA

Power Yoga Intermediate level class is for people who have been practicing Yoga regularly for at least a year. The Class focuses on building up strength and flexibility. Intermediate to Advance Yoga Asanas will be practiced. Pranayamas and Meditation will be practiced with longer time.

YOGA TEACHER TRAINING COURSES

If You wish to deepen your Yoga practice, or to learn more about Yoga lifestyle to live a healthy and happy Yogic life, or if you wish to become a Yoga teacher to share your Yoga passion, this is the course for you. You will learn about Yoga philosophy, Yoga paths, Yoga practices, Yoga Anatomy, and so much more.

PREGNANT YOGA

If you are in your 2nd or 3rd trimester you are welcome to join.
Prenatal Yoga with a gentle flow helps you to go through your pregnancy healthy and happy. You will learn to breath, relax and connect with your baby. 
Hip openning, strengthening the back and other parts of the body will be part of the session.

This class will prepare you for your delivery and motherhood with love and joy
